IUSWP

Another IUSWP year has ended. It is hard to believe that I have been involved in WP for the last five years. I get so pumped and ready for the school year at the end of each June. I always have tons of ideas that I can not wait to use in the classroom. Here are a few pictures from celebration night-tonight.

Today was a big day for Maddie. Tooth number two broke through and she has finally mastered crawling. She was so cute when she started attempting to crawl. She would push up on all fours and then lunge forward to get where she wanted to go. She also learned how to go from her stomach to a sitting position. This little girl has so much upper bottom strength-where Ellie was the opposite having a lot of leg strength.

Maddie is a sneaky girl. She is crawling everywhere. Her little tooth is coming in good now. She is such a happy baby for a teether. :)

Founder's Day Parade

One of Ellie's favorite things to do is ride in Bob's fire dept staff vehicle. She does not get to very often, mainly on parade days. She was so excited about the parade this year. She could not wait to throw (or attempt to) her candy. The only thing is I am not sure that she has ever really seen a parade because she is almost always in them.

Today my best friend came down from Indy and brought her boyfriend for us to finally meet. He is a great guy, and I am so happy for her. We so do not get to see each other enough.

We started the evening out at Kansai for some yummy dinner. This has become a traditional place when Amy is down. Then we headed to the putt putt course in Jeff. This is a really neat place that we just heard about, and definitely will be going back to.

Tooth # 1

Maddie got her first tooth today. It was really eventless. When Ellie started teething it was a slobbery, fussy, fevery mess. But with Maddie we were playing with her and she was giggling and laughing when I noticed a white glimmer in her mouth. And sure enough her bottom left tooth is in.

Why?

Did I think that it was a good idea to go to school during the summer, and take an intensive at that. I am at school everyday from 8 a-7 p. Oh well only a few weeks, and I am actually really enjoying the class.

I took Maddie for her six month check-up today and she weights 14.2lbs. This was the first time I had to take one of the girls for a shot appointment by myself. Bob left for Virginia this morning. Surprisingly it went quite well.

School's Out for Summer

Even with a ten week maternity leave, this has been a really long year. I am glad that it is finally over. Now I can focus on the writing project for the rest of June, and then spend quality time with my babies in July :)

Congratulations Kasey

This has been a super busy weekend. It started yesterday when I had four graduation parties to go to. But actually the day flew by pretty fast. Today I only had two parties. I started my afternoon in Scottsburg then I headed over to Kasey's graduation party. I can not believe that Kasey is already old enough to graduate. For her graduation gift I made her a slide show. It turned out so good. I have made several slide shows, but this was by far the most emotional one to make. We had a nice visit with the family and of course the girls loved all the attention.
