Are you kidding me?

We took Ellie for her 18 month check-up today. The doctor said that she looked great developmentally, but just a little on the petite side (well maybe a lot). She is weighing in at 19lbs,
1 oz, but she gained almost two pounds in six months, so that is good. Bob is convinced that the weight is inaccurate because she through a huge fit when the nurse was trying to weigh her. But she took those two shots like a champ. She did not cry with the one on her arm, and she probably only cried with the one in her leg because she had to be held down. She is becoming our tough little girl.

Something she did gain a lot of is height. She is now 30 1/2 inches. Which means she grew a little over 3 inches since November. The doctor said that she will be above the female average in height. Do we have a future athlete in our midst?

So we have to go back one more time in November to finish up the shots. Then we don't come back for more until Kindergarten, YIKES.
